From Gamma-ray.com:
Gamma Ray have announced a series of eight shows in Europe in October and November under the banner of The Skeletons In The Closet Tour 2002, only this time these shows will fundamentally different from what's gone before... the band have asked YOU the fans to decide on the set list!
The Ray's mainman Kai Hansen said "On all of our previous shows we've played a mix of songs from a new album and the very obvious audience favourites, but this time we intend to play songs we've rarely, or never played live before, so we thought it might be kinda cool to give the fans the opportunity to decide on the set list themselves by voting on the web-site for the more obscure songs they've repeatedly requested through the fan club and at gigs, hence the title ‘Skeleton's In The Closet.’ We'll be playing an extended set of what they want to hear!"
In order to vote for your favourite songs simply email us your preferences, the songs receiving the most votes will form the set list. Send us an email with your full name and tell us which Gamma Ray songs you feel deserve their baptism of fire or their long due return into the set list. Your song list should contain 15 songs in total - that's about the length of a full headliner show. And PLEASE be CREATIVE! This tour is meant to feature Gamma Ray songs that have never been played live before or that haven't been in the set in a very long time. So don't vote for "Land Of The Free" or "Somewhere Out In Space" or all the other standard live songs -- that's not the idea of it!
10 voters will be invited backstage at each show to hangout with the guys, and then have their photo taken which will be signed by the band and sent on to them.
So all you Gamma Ray fans who shout requests when you're at the gigs... now's your chance... GET VOTING!!!!!!!
