NITRO To Release 'Lost' Album On Vinyl By Larry Petro, News Monkey Wednesday, January 22, 2014 @ 9:22 AM Never Released Volatile Activity To Get Vinyl Treatment - advertisement - - advertisement - US metallers NITRO have joined with Blood and Iron Records/Metal Soldiers Records to issue the “lost”, never-released album Volatile Activity on vinyl. Following Skol Records July 2013 CD release of the NITRO anthology Lethal Dose, Volatile Activity comes from Blood and Iron/Metal Soldiers records limited release in black vinyl and blue vinyl. For more than 26 years, this complete and self-produced album has been tucked away deep in the NITRO vaults. Vinylphiles will be treated to ten vintage tracks forged in 1987, as well as the new 2013 single "Uranium", serving as the connective tissue to span the decades between classic and farm-fresh NITRO. Volatile Activity includes plenty of exciting extras such as detailed liner notes, lyrics, and never-before-seen NITRO photos from the 80’s of original members Dana Confer, John Hazel, Brad Gensimore, and Tim Wilson.
