SALIVA just started out on a 50+ date trek across the United States, hitting major and minor markets, while performing past favorites and brand new tracks from their upcoming release, Rise Up, out April 29, 2014 via Rum Bum Records. The band can now reveal some brand new dates, including New York City on April 30th, Buffalo, NY on May 6th, Columbus, OH on May 8th, and more. See below for a full listing of current and upcoming shows!
The audiences have been great, says new singer Bobby Amaru. I think we have a whole new energy on stage.
Fans should expect to see the band on tour the rest of the year and well into next. It's definitely a throwback, fun, party rock show, adds Swinny. And Bobby's putting his own spin on the older material.
As mentioned above, the bands new album Rise Up, produced by acclaimed producer Bobby Huff (PAPA ROACH, 3 DOORS DOWN, TIM FINN), will hit stores on April 29th. Rise Up marks the true revival of SALIVA, presenting the band doing what they do best true, gritty, heavy rock n roll.
If you counted SALIVA out when you heard that they had parted ways with singer Josey Scott, you have been proven dead wrong all you have to do is give a listen to the previously released title track, "Rise Up", which is available for streaming now via Rock Confidential by way of an official lyric video.
Rise Up Track listing:
"Rise Up"
"She Can Sure Hide Crazy"
"No One But Me"
"Lost"
"1000 Eyes"
"Redneck Freakshow"
"Choke"
"Army"
"Closer"
"In It To Win It"
"The Enemy"
"I Dont Want It"
Long-time SALIVA fans will be beyond pleased with the Rise Up a bold record full of big hooks, major swagger and plenty of amazing guitar work. Rise Up is first and foremost a rock record that kicks hard, from the immediacy of the aforementioned "Rise Up" to the slow build of "Choke" and the rollickin' "Redneck Freakshow".
