Wind-Up Records, Drowning Pool’s label, is looking to compile a DVD to chronicle the life of the late vocalist Dave Williams. They will utilize the first $250,000 from the sales to help build a retirement house for Williams’ parents, Charlie and Jo Ann, as that was always a dream for Dave to provide his family with.
Although the project is just getting kicked off, Wind-Up hopes to provide all types of content throughout Dave’s life, including his early days playing club gigs in Dallas to his rise with Drowning Pool’s success, in which the band sold over 1 million copies of their debut album, Sinner.
Wind-Up is asking fans to contribute any photographs, home videos, personal accounts, or anything else to serve the memory of Dave. Please email [email protected] with anything that may be appropriate for contribution.
