"The music video for "Absence" delivers an in-your-face onslaught full of hair, sweat, and aggression. The video captures our live show like never before, Dave Brodsky combines the on stage rage with some off stage antics raising the bar to a whole new level. Warning: watching this video may cause excessive headbanging," says guitarist Tony Asta.
The first song from Rise To Power, "Not Your Slave", is streaming at metalblade.com/battlecross. The record was produced by Jason Suecof, and mixed/mastered by Mark Lewis at Audiohammer Studios. The cover art was completed by Hungarian artist Péter Sallai (SABATON, SACRED STEEL).
From August 21st through August 24th, BATTLECROSS will play a handful of CD release shows, before they join up with GWAR and BUTCHER BABIES for a North American tour kicking off August 25th in Millvale, PA and wraps up September 18th in Rochester, NY. Fans can expect to hear BATTLECROSS classics and the blistering new tracks from Rise To Power. A complete list of dates can be found below.
BATTLECROSS' previous album, War Of Will, debuted at #134 on the Billboard Top 200 chart upon its release in July of 2013. This was the band's first ever Billboard chart debut!
