Multi-platinum rock band Poison, who will embark on a summer tour May 23, 2003, with Vince Neil and Skid Row in support, have confirmed that they will indeed be performing in Toronto, Canada on June 3rd as scheduled.
Numerous reports have surfaced that the band had cancelled their June
3rd appearance at Toronto's Molson Amphitheater. Someone impersonating lead singer Bret Michaels is suspected to be spreading these rumors.
While other artists have cancelled their appearances in Toronto due to
the SARS outbreak and the World Health Organization's travel advisory
for Toronto, Poison will appear in there on June 3rd, and the show will go on as planned.
Also as previously scheduled, Michaels, whose solo album, Songs of Life, will be released May 20, will be in Toronto on May 5 for a full day of press. He will be appearing on Much More Music's Power Hour and CTV's Open Mike (The Mike Bullard Show) to promote the album, its first single and video, Raine, as well as Poison's performance at Molson Amphitheater on June 3rd.
Michaels then travels to Montreal on May 6 and Ottawa on May 7 as part
of this promotional tour.
