CLUTCH EMBARK ON WEST COAST LEG OF THE ‘BLAST TYRANT’ TOUR
New York, NY -- Clutch will embark on a lengthy tour of the West Coast in support of their new album, Blast Tyrant, available on the DRT label. The album’s first single, “The Mob Goes Wild,” is steadily building at radio and the video, directed by Bam Margera (Jackass, Viva La Bam), can currently be seen on Fuse’s Uranium show.
Touring incessantly since the album’s release on March 30, 2004, Clutch has been selling out and packing houses on both the East Coast and the Midwest legs of their current tour.
Blast Tyrant breaks new musical ground for the band by taking their trademark combination of funk and metal and alternating between compact form and elaborate instrumental sections. It’s the band’s first album of new material since 2001’s Pure Rock Fury and their first release for DRT Entertainment.
