In the early 90's, multitple compilations like Death... Is Just The Beginning1 helped give way to many bands and inclusive of that compilation was Sweden's HYPOCRISY who helped create and craft the genre that would be Swedish Death Metal. The genre has evolved into melodic chaos that has influenced many of today's modern extreme bands. Founding members, vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Peter Tägtgren, along with bassist Mikael Hedlund have kept the legacy going after 3 decades and 13 albums. Their latest release Worship is a return to their heavier form that broke through the stagnation facing the world in the last couple of years.

In support of their last year's release Worship, they will embark on a North American Tour. Peter took time to speak with KNAC.COM in regards to the recent release, the upcoming tour in support of it, and much more.
