The greatest rock n’ roll band in the world, the Supersuckers, will release their first live record, Must’ve Been Live on March 12th. A document of their rare live country sets, the disc will feature many of the songs from the group’s 1997 alter-ego country album Must’ve Been High as well as many other songs and some great guest appearances from Amy Nelson (daughter of Willie Nelson), Audley Freed of The Black Crowes and Mickey Rafael (Willie Nelson’s band).
To coincide with the “Must’ve Been Live” release, the Supersuckers will take their Country Western Extravaganza show on the national circuit starting March 16th. In addition, a special warm-up gig with lead vocalist Eddie Spaghetti and Friends is scheduled at the Continental Club at South By Southwest in Austin, TX on March 14th at 10:0pm.
The band also have an all-electric ROCK live record is in the works as well, likely to be released next year. The band also has a split CD with New York’s Electric Franenstein in the works, titled Splitsville, to be released through The Music Cartel.
