Lava/Atlantic recording artist Kid Rock is getting ready to kick off his eagerly anticipated North American tour, set to begin tomorrow night with a sold-out show at the Wendler Arena in Saginaw, Michigan.
The current tour itinerary features dates continuing through May 4th, when Kid Rock and his Twisted Brown Trucker band are set to rock Atlanta's Music Midtown 2002 festival. Further details - including Kid Rock's Summer 2002 itinerary - will be announced shortly.
"Lonely Road of Faith," the new single from Kid Rock's platinum
Cocky, is a top 20 smash at multi-format rock radio outlets nationwide, while continuing to climb at active and alternative. The "Lonely Road of Faith" companion video clip - which incorporates footage from Kid Rock and Twisted Brown Trucker's recent performance before U.S military forces stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany - is now in rotation at MTV and VH1.
Kid Rock - who is currently featured on the cover of the
February/March issue of Blender - has made a number of high-profile TV
appearances in recent weeks, including a very special episode of CMT
Crossroads which saw him teaming up with his longtime hero, Hank Williams Jr. The hour-long program - which premiered on CMT last Sunday, February 17th - is scheduled to be re-broadcast tomorrow evening at 9 PM ET/PT, and Saturday, February 23rd at 1 AM ET/PT (check local listings). In addition, Rock has appeared on such programs as NBC-TV's Last Call With Carson Daly,
