German rockers DUST BOLT are back with the long-awaited follow up to their 2019 album Trapped In Chaos. Known primarily as a Thrash Metal band since 2012, DUST BOLT have returned to prove that they are not just a one-trick pony. The band's fifth studio album Sound & Fury is set for release on February 23, 2024 through AFM Records. Their shift in sound is bound to ruffle a few feathers among their longtime fans, but if you're not down with how DUST BOLT has matured, then the album cover was probably designed with you in mind.
I had the chance to speak with frontman Lenny Bruce to discuss the band's latest album Sound & Fury. Bruce also discusses writing and recording a lot of the material on his own for the first time, working without a record label early in the process, the stories behind the singles, expected fan backlash, their new bassist Tom Liebing, signing with AFM Records, their upcoming European tour, a future solo album, and much, much more.
