The new face of Brazilian Death Metal, The New Wave Of Femme Fatale Metal - CRYTPA is a name that has caught on quickly since their 2021 debut Echoes Of The Soul. One of the best albums of that year that was recorded and released during a dark and difficult time for the world, it not only survived but also proved very successful by overcoming the odds with its pure intensity, brutality and amazing songwriting that would eventually be proven with their amazing live show.

Furthering that success with the follow-up Shades Of Sorrow, and along with new guitarist Jessica Falchi, CRYPTA has taken the Death Metal world by storm proving once again that they mean serious business as evident with several SOLD-OUT shows that included Los Angeles. Right before their show at The Whisky A Go-Go, I had a chance to talk to Vocalist and Bassist Fernanda Lira at the World Famous Rainbow Bar and Grill where we discussed the tour, their first 2 albums, female influences - and much more.
