Mastodon announce their spring headline tour of North America, which will begin April 16th. The tour presented by Volcom, will feature support from special guests BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, BARONESS, and VALIENT THORR.
This tour will bring the band to the fans in American cities that have yet to experience the Crack The Skye live event.
Dates are as follows, tickets go on sale Friday February 12th:

Says the band, "In keeping with Mastodon tradition, we will offer a new, limited tour only color vinyl edition of Crack The Skye. Also, April 17th, 2010 is National Record Store Day and Mastodon will celebrate with special vinyl reissues of Blood Mountain in both standard and deluxe editions. The later pressed on double 45 RPM discs on super heavy 180 gram vinyl housed in a grand gatefold sleeve that will feature new custom art from Paul Romano."
