Bret Michaels To Appear On Oprah Tomorrow - Plans to Continue Touring Next Week By Newsferatu, Writer Tuesday, May 18, 2010 @ 9:24 AM
Michaels is currently undergoing physical therapy twice a day, but he still plans on touring in support of his new solo album, out June 8th. In fact, Bret's first gig is scheduled for next week.
Michaels is also a finalist on "Celebrity Apprentice" and Donald Trump and the show's producers are hoping he'll be able to show up on the live finale this Sunday.
Yesterday, Michaels posted the following message on his official website:
What an unbelievable six weeks it's been. Who would dreamt that while recovering from an appendectomy that you would have a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage? Events like this certainly put life into perspective.
All the prayers, thoughts, and well wishes have certainly heard and without a doubt helped me through this trying time. My supporters and fans have always meant the world to me and I can't thank you enough for the kindness and love you guys have sent to me and my family.
Despite a few setbacks and hiccups along the road to recovery, my only goal and intention is to get back to 100 percent health as soon as possible, so I can get back and give you all 200 percent. Without a doubt the rock and roll will resume very shortly.
