SLASH's Hometown Show Sells Out In Less Than Two Hours By Tokemaster General, Contributor Sunday, May 8, 2011 @ 11:27 AM
According to StaffsLive, tickets for SLASH's (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) homecoming concert in Stoke-on-Trent sold out in less than two hours.
The gig on July 24th marks Slash's first-ever concert in his home town at the Victoria Hall which holds over 1,500 people.
During his early years, Slash was raised by his father and paternal grandparents in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and when he was five years old, he and his father joined his mother in Los Angeles, California. Following his parents' separation in 1974, Slash became a self-described "problem child" and went to live with his maternal grandmother.
