Christian nu metal rockers P.O.D. are working on their first official full-length DVD, which will be released early next year. Originally, the band was shooting for a released date around Christmas, but when they sat down to assemble the package, they decided not to hurry. "We thought we had more footage than we really did, so we've just been getting more footage on this tour," Curiel told MTV News. "And we've got more videos. Now we can put on the unedited versions of 'Alive' and 'Youth of the Nation.'"
In addition to current live footage, behind the scene clips and a collection of the band’s music videos, this DVD will also feature a glimpse of the band’s early years in the clubs. "We're gonna show footage of the band from when we first started out on our first tour all the way until now," Curiel said. "We were a lot younger then. We look totally different now. Basically, it's just gonna show how we've paid dues. It will be the history of our 10-year overnight success."
In the meantime, P.O.D.'s new single, "Youth of the Nation" is climbing up the charts and the video is being embraced by MTV big time. The band just finished its Youth of the Nation Tour and is currently planning the release of yet another single, "Boom." A video for “Boom” is expected to be shot early next year.
